Sardinia’s gem of a coastline strikes again with Isola Mortorio. Stashed between Porto Rotondo and Porto Cervo, you will find this incredible slip of land adrift in the vibrant hues of blue and green. The Isola Mortorio is a vision of sunglazed cliffs, nesting birds, dense vegetation and blissful beaches. As this Isola is part of the Maddalena National Park, the area is protected and remains closely monitored.
This is excellent news for those keen to see the rare Audoin’s gull, egrets, and the peregrine falcons who flock to these rich and fragile lands. If you can tear your eyes from the skies, the beaches on Isola Mortorio are majestic - boasting crystal waters and white sand. Entry to the island comes under tight jurisdiction to protect the elements.

The old lighthouse overlooks the Cala di Luna, which lights up the white cliffs at the entrance of the port of Bonifacio, Corsica—visible from the beach.

Cala Di Volpe - La Maddalena

La Maddalena lends it's name to an archipelego around 60 isles and islands on the northeast coast of the Sardinia.
The island of the same name, is the only permanently inhabited island in this achipelego. The national park is famous for it's photogenic beaches, such as Octopus Head Beach where you will definitely want to get out your snorkels and plunge in to the water to see what's beneath.

La Maddalena - Cannigione

Originally a fishing village, Cannigione is now a renowned tourist destination and a beautiful one at that! It's home to a large, flat sandy beach with its surrounding waters popular among scuba divers and snorkelers. It has become one of the most important diving centres in Sardinia and should not be missed.


DAY 8
Cannigione - Bonifacio

On stunning white, limestone cliffs at the south end of Corsica lies the spectacular harbour town of Bonifacio. The old citadel, perched on the precipice, rises high above the sea, overlooking the natural harbour below, that has sheltered many boats of the centuries and is now a modern marina.
Steeped in history, there are plenty of sights to explore along the cobblestone streets of the old town, along with its fabulous viewpoints along the ramparts. Some of the medieval townhouses that dominate these cliffs are a few stories high, but only one room deep. Worth a visit is the beautiful maritime cemetery and the old convent of St Francois.

Bonifacio - Propriano

Attracting luxury yachts from around the world, Propriano is home to a vibrant harbour, amazing restaurants and stunning scenery. There is a great beach club vibe here, with plenty of bars and clubs along the shore, but if you're looking for something a little quieter, there are countless hidden coves for you to explore.
The Valinco Gulf boasts many beautiful, sandy beaches and plenty of diving opportunities, from beginner to the most advanced.

Propriano - Ajaccio

The elegant Ajaccio, Capital of Corsica, is set in one of the Mediterranean's most stunning Gulfs on the west coast of the island.
One its most famous inhabitants is Napoleon Bonaparte, who was born here in 1769, and whose ancestral home is now a museum.
The city is home to two marinas and with its palm lined boulevards and waterside cafes, it's easy to see why it is compared to the glamourous Cote d'Azur. The old town has plenty of alleyways to explore its wonderful history. Further out, you can make the most of the gulf's beautiful beaches, and explore the Iles Sanguinaires where the sunsets are magical!
